D365Forge

Notice and how to credit

D365Forge was created by Simon Foote and Robert Peledie.

Copyright (c) 2026 Simon Foote, Robert Peledie and the D365Forge contributors.

What you may do

Use it freely, including commercially and on paid client projects. You may copy, share, adapt and build on any part of it. The one condition is credit when you share or publish it, as set out below.

How to credit

When you share, republish or adapt any of the content (in a repository, a product, a course, a blog, a slide deck or an internal library you make available to others), include this credit where people will see it:

"D365Forge" by Simon Foote and Robert Peledie (https://github.com/SimonFoote-greensparx/D365Forge), licensed under CC BY 4.0 (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/).

If you changed it, say so:

Adapted from "D365Forge" by Simon Foote and Robert Peledie (https://github.com/SimonFoote-greensparx/D365Forge), licensed under CC BY 4.0 (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/). Changes: [describe briefly].

Keep the license and authors fields in each skill's frontmatter, the credit line at the end of each template, and this file, when you copy or repackage them. For academic or formal citation, use CITATION.cff; GitHub shows it as Cite this repository.

When you redistribute the code, keep the copyright notice and LICENSE-CODE, as MIT requires.

Your own project documents need no credit

The documents you produce for your own project by filling in the templates or running the skills (a project charter, a RACI matrix, a RAID log and so on) belong to you. As an additional permission from the authors, you need not credit D365Forge in them. Each template ends with a credit line you may keep as a footer or remove. The credit condition applies when you share or publish the skills, templates or other content themselves.

Not endorsed by the authors or by Microsoft

Crediting the work does not mean the authors endorse you, your product or your project, and a credit must not suggest that they do. D365Forge is an independent community project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Microsoft. Microsoft, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Dataverse, Copilot and related names are trademarks of the Microsoft group of companies.

Contributions

Contributions are accepted under the same terms: content under CC BY 4.0 and code under MIT. Contributors are credited in the git history and, for substantial contributions, in AUTHORS.md. The credit to the original creators stays in place.

This repository's structure follows headcount by Chris Brock. All content here is original.
